This Site managing by Directorate of Erbil meteorology in Kurdistan Region Government /Iraq , Ministry of Transportation, which has been established in 2006. The main Departments of this Foundation here below with summarized duties:

• Forecasting: Preparing daily report on Weather Forecast in Kurdistan Region and publishing it.
• Climate: Preparing a Data base for meteorological data.
• GIS: Plotting Geographical maps by using Satellite Images and GPS then printing by plotter.
• Earthquake Monitoring: Observing and monitoring Earth quake records through six stations in Erbil, Sulamanya and Duhok governorates.
• Administration and Accounting unit.
